MakerGirl and PrintParts Partner to Provide Summer Scholarships and Printing Credits for Students Designs
Chicago, IL (June 17, 2021), MakerGirl, the national not-for-profit that educates students in Science Technology, Engineering and Math has announced a partnership with PrintParts, additive manufacturing company. PrintParts will be the Platinum Sponsor of MakerGirl’s upcoming virtual programming this summer.
As a part of the partnership, PrintParts will be the main printing source for all summer MakerGirls designs. In addition to providing scholarships to provide free programming to all summer students.

Starting in June of 2021, MakerGirl’s goal is to educate 1,000 students through both their Level I introduction to 3D printing offerings as well as their new Level II Inventor Series course. By the end of the level I sessions students become familiar with real world applications of 3D printing and gain a basic knowledge of CAD design. The goal of the level II is to boost students STEM confidence in building & presenting, all MakerGirls present their project by the end of the experience and master creating their own project through the engineering design process.
