What happens in a MakerGirl Session?

Level 1 - Future Makers (1.5 hours, live and in-person)

• Introduction to 3D printing and how it can be used in different industries

• Introduction to computer-aided design (CAD)

• Learn about famous women in STEM

• See 3D printing in action

• Students can present what they created to the class

Session Theme & Times:

Session I: Barbie & Passion for Fashion - Saturday, March 30th at 1pm-2:15pm CST (girls ages 7-10)

Session II: Architecture - Saturday, April 13th at 1-2:15pm CST (girls ages 11-14)

Parents & guardians, please drop your MakerGirl(s) off at the session and pick them up at the end. The best drop off location is on the North side of the building on Springfield Avenue. Parking is very limited and there will be a greater at the door. MakerGirl and IDEA Lab supervision will be present during the entire session.
