What happens in a MakerGirl Session?

Level 1 - Future Makers (2 hours, In-Person!)

• Introduction to 3D printing and how it can be used in different industries

• Introduction to computer-aided design (CAD)

• Learn about famous women in STEM

• REVAMPED: Obtain your 3D printed design at home after the session (within 8-10 weeks) in a special MakerGirl at-home mailer

• Students can present what they created to the class

Target Age Range:

7-14 years old

Session Theme & Date:

Passion for Fashion -Thursday April 27th at 4:30-6:30 pm eastern

Session Cost:

$25/student

At the end of the registration form it will redirect you to PayPal to complete the payment required for this session. Scholarships are available, please email programs@makergirl.us for more information.

Session Details:

This MakerGirl live session will take place from 4:30 to 6:00 pm followed by a 30 minute tour of the Design Innovation Hub at Kent State!

Kent State supervision will be there the entire session.
