What to Expect Once You’ve Registered for a MakerGirl Goes Mobile Session

I’ve registered my MakerGirl! What now?

Once you’ve completed your registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing all materials 2 days prior to your session with the session address and information for the location.

What should my MakerGirl expect?

Your MakerGirl is going to have SO much fun!

On the day of the session, she should arrive at the location at the time listed in your confirmation email prepared to learn and have fun with new friends! There she will learn all about STEM, be introduced to the 3D printing process, learn about a woman in STEM related to the session theme and begin brainstorming her very own 3D print!

Our ChangeMakers will have everything she needs to participate, so there is no need to bring anything except her imagination! The session will last 2 hours, so she will have plenty of time to brainstorm, learn to use Tinkercad and design her 3D print.

Parents should accompany their MakerGirls while they check in, but they are not expected to stay and participate. But don’t worry, they’ll be invited to join the classroom for the last 15 minutes for show and tell!

Once the session has ended, our team will work expeditiously to print and ship her design to her. She can expect it to arrive in the mail 8-10 weeks after the session.
