What happens in a MakerGirl Session?

Level 1 - Future Makers (90 minutes)

  • Introduction to 3D printing and how it can be used in different industries

  • Introduction to computer-aided design (CAD)

  • Learn about famous women in STEM

  • REVAMPED: Obtain your 3D printed design at home after the session (within 8-10 weeks) in a special MakerGirl at-home mailer

  • Students can present what they created to the class

7-14 years old

Session Details:

Parents and guardians, Northwest Regional Library is located just south of the intersection of Sample Road and University Drive, next to the Coral Springs Charter School.  Program attendees can be dropped off in the Library’s Youth Services Department (inside at the base of the stairs) between 3 and 3:30.  Participants can be picked up between 5 and 5:30 at the Library’s front doors.
