Our Vision:
Every girl is a MakerGirl - a girl who lives and dreams as an unstoppable force, saying “Yes!” to challenges of the future
3D Printing Workshops
Our Offerings
Level 1: Future Makers
Students will be introduced to computer assisted design (CAD) & learn about real-world 3D printing applications. MakerGirls will create their own 3D print design and receive the print after the session. Girls will learn 3D printing through fun themes, including Passion for Fashion, Architecture, or Under the Sea through real-life examples and famous women in STEM!
Level 2: Inventive Minds
Over the course of 5-modules students will learn to be not only makers, but inventors! MakerGirls use engineering design principles to create their own project. Each MakerGirl will have the opportunity to go through the engineering design process by building their own game board from scratch and thinking critically about the components of their favorite games.
Level 3: Project Engineers
Level 3 launched in 2022/2023, is a process of 8 modules which allows students to use engineering & entrepreneurship principles to ideate, design, create, and pitch a new product or invention. Students will be encouraged to think about what bothers them and ways they can solve that problem. Motorola Solutions and Stephanie Hein are the key creators and investors of Level 3.
ChangeMakers
ChangeMakers are the core of our work at MakerGirl! ChangeMakers are high-schoolers and college students from around the country. ChangeMakers work with us during the academic year to volunteer, run all MakerGirl live and virtual sessions, learn to run a non profit and work on projects (marketing, finance, sponsorship, etc.), and partner with ChangeMakers all around the country.

Why parents love us!
“MakerGirl has been a creative, fun, and educational outlet for my tween daughter--especially during COVID times. She already had knowledge and experience of using TinkerCad, but partaking in the MakerGirl workshops provided her additional room for exploration, design, and appreciation of STEM!”
